Image posting video tutorial [PLEASE WATCH]

I've seen quite a lot of people linking their images wrong lately, instead of me being able to click the image from the forums to show the full-res, it shows a small photo which you have to wait for it to load and then click the the magnify button and then it still doesn't come up full size. (Which is shown in the video after uploading.)
Here's a quick tutorial on how to do it so you can click the image and it goes straight to the full-res without the ImageShack pages.

Enjoy! :woot:

Thanks for taking the time to do that! Nice work mate that will help alot of people especially the newer ones
Not bad Matt.... someone needs to combine your tutorial with ATC's here: http://www.autemo.com/forums/?t=10143

Why? Because you should resize the image that you place in the [img][/img] tags to speed up the viewing process and save people's bandwidth. I know the forum auto-resizes the pics, but people are still downloading the hi-res in effect.

Props for making the tutorial though.

You didn't need to click the zoom view and then open image in new tab...
It's faster just to hit open image in new tab on the small view - it loads the same image, and avoids the annoying adverts that pop up...

Another problem is that not all browsers support the 'view image' or 'open image in new tab' feature...

never the less - nice tut

The best way would be to upload the photo twice and make one 800px wide and post that one with [img][/img] and then highlight it and then use [url][/url] and paste the full-res image in there, but then it's probably quite a lot of trouble to upload twice. Shall I try and make a tutorial video for it?

EDIT: I did the video that I described above but it is quite glitchy. :/ If you think it's good then I will redo it.

Here's the outcome, it shows the 800px by 600px image in the forums and then when you click it it shows full-res.
