Ford Escort Mark 1
What do you think? Too flashy for a respectable oldtimer? or an appropiate tribute to the crazy sixties? I've to admit that if I owned the car I wouldn't dare to give it that orange paint coat...

So this is a Ford Escort MKI I saw while walking around the Cathedral area of Lisbon. The car itself was so nice to me mostly because it's one of my fav cars, despite looking quite in a bad condition and rusty in some parts thus letting my friends starting to joke with it.
That's what inspired me into transforming it into a flashy, menacing classic and an incredible journey researching elements from different vehicles of the time, ranging from the "big brothers" of this escort (RS, Mexico, and even Capri RS) to rivals such as the Golf GTI or the BMW 2002 Turbo.
Everything is brushed, except for the wheels, the grill, and the license plate.

Adding power makes you faster on the straights. Subtracting weight makes you faster everywhere.
