The formation of a planetary system

I'm back to the rescue with a new rendering made entirely of brush.

I found some plug-in, I installed and I started to work, get this:
Formazione_sistema_planetario.jpg
This is the formation of a planetary system. More specifically, the planetary system of the star h280Vx (around which orbit Terranova).

I hope you like it...

Looks like you used a lot of effects and the outcome isn't bad.
But what really bothers me is the shadow behind the planets. Shadows are always cast on something. And since there is nothing there, there can not be a shadow. ;)

In a planetary system in formation, all the space around the star is full of gas, dust and rocks. Therefore, the planet, blocking the light produced by the star, casting a shadow in the cloud. So I had to do the shadow...

Yes I am aware of this.
But to get a shadow like that, the dust has to be very dense.
Also a lot of things you see on pictures like this are only seen with special lenses.
Like IR lenses. Which means you see it on the picture, but it's not something on which you can see a shadow.

Or at least that's what I thought, not an expert.
