Isuzu Rodeo **First Chop in ages**

As a lot of you'se know I hadn't chopped in ages. For those that are confused while I'm back in New Choppers is simply cause I lost my touch with photoshop and want to build myself up again. I had done this for a Competition on another Forum. Now bare in mind, this has LOTS of mistakes.. However I don't want to fix them as Ive spent far too long putting it together and I've other things to do. Plus I don't want to put myself off Photoshop again.

Anyways, when I seen the base I was like "Erm, whaat?!" I forced myself to do it, chopped and changed my mind with this chop and tried different things. As I started to mod, I decided I'd go for something funky and fun rather than my old "realism ideas". I have NEVER done a chop like this before in all the years that I've spent chopping, so yes like I've stated, plenty of mistakes and could be better.

Modifications:

* Audi arches, side skirt and rear bumper. Severely skewed to fit.
* Some new roof and boot lid style of some pickup truck; doesn't have a name.
* Re-brushed entire body panels; added some crappy looking noise/flake paint or whatever you want to call it.
* Two tone.
* Re-did door lines and rest of the body lines.
* Tinted windows.
* New background & poor attempt at the shadow.
* Crappy graphics, but hey couldn't think of anything else.
* Modded rear lights.
* Multi-spoke rims added and changed colour (bad quality).

looks good some mistackes nice rear bumper
great to hear you are trying to get back in the sadle then :)
cant remember you or your previous works

well this chop (i dont know what level you where or..) is what it is ..

it's certainly not awfull but its nowhere good also

if i could give pointers to help you i would say , (most important things not gonna pick out every single thing ) >>

(again not to flame but to help)

1. look at the cab and the truck bed the angle of the cab is totally different then the bed , it looks way smaller (the car)
my advice try to keep such things in stock mode no need to change the angle / perspective of that

2. basicly you made it hard for yourself by strating with a grey car , grey / white and black are not really colors and changing grey or white to color in ps is hard without really re-brushing everything , it almost always looks weird and saturated

i have to give that to you i think the coloring looks okay , the colorcoding of the parts (like the audi bumper could use some practice (like the rear section of the bumper still darker blue as where the trunk is light)

selections on tther hand seem to be good , i dont see horrible things there :P

btw i'm curious on your old works maybe post some ???

keep at it :-d you will improve soon :D

i just made my comeback (6 months not toutching ps) myself and i must say after 2 resonable chops (below my old standard) i now feel its back and i'm even improving again (i hope :P)

have fun !!!! (most important to have in chopping) :P

Thanks for the good reply Rich. The chop was done for a compeition, but started to run out of time and rushed everything. Couldn't be bothered changing it anyways, Ive started new WIP.

I took in all the tips anyways, it's ncie to be reminded off them. :-d

It's really awsome of you, seeing you trying and learning ''again''.
Although, there are some mistakes that Rich pointed it out, perspective and color-realism.

You are in photoshop for long time, as I can see, so we don't need to lecture you about motivation and stuff. The most important thing is to not lose the interest, the entusiasm in chopping and keep going :-d
