Walburg Wanderer Exelero Sport - Part I
At first, greetings to BCS, I took his words very exactly, I hope he has the same opinion like me
Actually, it was as a short project in between, because my real big project is in other hands
and is slumbered there, well, actually it lies still around, no matter,
it should only be a little memory of those whos already knows who is meant.
meantime there are already 2 1 / 2 months past.
Here I'll start differently, with the thanks ...
... Thanks to aesop, cfh and Erka, and I don`t know he had ever watched the wip,
no matter thanks for wip-watching.
A particularly big thank to Kenny, who has saved the side of the car ^^, he know what I mean
And now for the rest, the name and how it was born: Walburg Wanderer Exelero Sport ...
With the name I want to honor the creator of this drawing - Mr. Walburg.
Between the years 2000 and 2004 he studied Automotive Engineering / bearing Auto Body Construction at the UAS Zwickau, like me.
At the end of his studies everybody recognized his enormous potential of drawing and designing,
so his works are still exposed in our construction cabinet.
After his studies, he studied again ...
... Industrial Design, as far as I know.
Wanderer: is one of the oldest car brands in Germany. It was founded in 1885 in Chemnitz (Saxony/Germany)
and, as so often all started with repairing bicycles, builting sewing machines and motorcycles.
In the year 1905 the first Wanderer was built. So, the most of you guys don`t know that car with it`s long-established brand,
but I assure you, every one of you has ever seen it, driven it or even has one.
At the early 30th the state of Saxony had to helped many companies with credits, due to the world economic crash. But also the state Saxony had to save money, too.
To expend less money, Saxony combined the brands Wanderer, DKW, Horch and Audi.
The Auto Union (later Audi) was born. So, a little bit of Wanderer lives on in every new Audi.
Exelero Sport: Probably the author of this drawing was inspirated of the Wanderer, as a traditional name
and brand of the region Chemnitz / Zwickau (Saxony/Germany), as well as the Maybach Exelero.
But this vehicle isn`t so long as the old Wanderer or the Maybach, it`s rather smaller,
not to say it have sportier dimensions, so his name finished with with "Sport" .
I hope I was able to expand your horizons a little bit, have fun with the fake.
To be continued
