I think generally you have the right idea, you just need to use a few more different tones and add more detail to the chop.
1 The window being all black looks too toony, using a refrence you should select an area and then make it brighter, so you can see the seat and steering wheel and through the window
2 The brakes caliper should be on the same side front and back!
3 The bottom of the door should be darker, so I quickly used the burn tool on it.
4 Door panellines are not dark enough, it should always be darker then the colour of the car but never pure black.
5 The selection on the roof is a bit too sharp, when selecting with pentool or lasso, try and add a 0.3 feather edge and also the roof should reflect some light from the surrounding so I made it a bit brighter/ glow around it
