Lancia Emilia
Hi, Autemo people, I'll paste here what I've written on another site.
Quote:
The story.
March 2012.
The World Team Battle, a virtual tuning worldwide contest set up by Autemo.com, aked the teams to tune the brand new, at the time, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, a powerful Ferrari grandtouring car with 740BHP.
My team mate and I came up with two different ideas. Mine was to create the successor of the Lancia Montecarlo, his one was to soft tune the F12. My idea was too complex, so we discarded it.

The rebirth.
June 2014.
During the making of the Alfa Romeo 4C Barchetta (http://bit.ly/1tRFke0) I decided to finish one of my infinite unfinished projects. The desire to make a new glorious Lancia was too high not to immediately open the PSD file of it, again.
The original project stood there, as if covered by the dust of two years and a half.
I took a look to the design scheme, and it seemed still nice.
I began to make up my mind to set a mental scheme of the work I would have been facing for the next six months.

[updated]

The design.
The design aims to be elegant and a bit sporty.
The tapered headlights make the front look like a woman watching you lovingly.
A smiley expression is given by the radiator grill, with one chromed listel in foreground, and seven ones in the background, displaced in a half-oval way.
The chromed smudges at the side of the front bumper remind the ones on the Lancia Aurelia B24, and so the front grill does.
The triangular lights over the headlights, and the cromed listels at the side of the grill give a feeling of lightness and preciousness, worthy of a beautiful woman.
The side is prevailed by the discending line of the front arch, evoked from the '30s and '40s luxury cars.
The cockpit has been moved forward, so that the car now is not anymore a granturismo, but a slim and dynamic coupé which doesn't refuse the comfort.
Conclusion.
This is for sure my greatest project ever. A lot of effort was put in it, all my knownledge, too.
I hope you will appreciate it as much as I do.
Luca.
