Mercedes E Class coupe

Hi, i decided to do an E class merc, and just aim to give it an overall more agressive yet subtle look. all mods are brushed (apart from rims), and everything but lights and interior is re brush too.

Ive added a link to my wip thread, which includes the donor i used loosely for the paint but really only to get some basic colours at the start and then i winged it from then on ;)

so yeah anyway let me know what you think of it, or even what i could change, im happy to update it

Thanks for looking :)

hi Damo4 ..
nice color but texture such as wood shavings, i think reflection need more touching
to make it fit with daylight BG. and i suggest to use pen tool to avoid jagged selection.
overall looks like a new car promotion with atmosphere like that .. keep it up :-d

Overall a very well executed chop, certainly building upon previous works,
It's good to see the large range of tones and colours working together to make shiny paint

A few things you might want to consider, possibly in future chops:
  • The rim lighting doesn't feel to fit with the rest of the image - the lighting on them seems quite artificial and almost like an indoor photoshoot, so they stick out a bit
  • Look at how dark the shadow is under the mirror - this is good, however the rear of the car is in the same sort of shadow, so needs to be darker
  • A little more texture of the immediate ground reflection would help, a few stretched sand patterns etc
  • more blueeee... on the sky reflections
These are fairly small things really, but are things that will help take the chop to the next level. Well done though :-d
