Aha crazy design again, but this time we can still see that it is a carerra gt, so that's good
The design is actually really cool, and the black + gold colour combo works nicely

I think the shadow under the car needs some work though - if you look at the base you will see it is a lot sharper and less blurry, and doesn't come out from under the car much. With a white floor i don't think it should be as black either.

You may also want to make the white reflections sharper too, as the blurry edges creates a bit of a matte effect

Yes, fixing the shadow alone would do great change in the overall view of the pic
You gotta be very carefull when adjusting/scaling the body into the bg to match the
perspective, it looks cropped..
Base is almost flat (horizontal), inspiration pic is more steep (more depth), and background is even more steep, wich makes it harder for you and the eyes ;-)
Don't give up, i like the idea!!
