Skoda Fabia Pikes Peak Wannabe

Hi!

I wanna present You my new chop, skoda fabia in pikes peak version. It's not as hardcore as nsx pikes peak or sx4 (which was my inspiration at first), but imo it looks good ; ]

C/p parts: rims, sky reflections on windows and stickers on windshield. Rest is brushed/rebrushed.

I spend too much time on this car, and interior was hard for me to do (first time brushing interior), and I know it's not flawless, but i just can't work on it anymore...

I get that you're tired of working on it but it's a fun looking project nonetheless. The interior doesnt look too bad, it just needs to be more faded. As it is now it stands out a lot. The front wing looks to be slightly off (sticks out a bit far on the far side, or not enough on the near). As far as the details go I would've gone for some different rims+tires, these seem to be asphalt oriented. I like the little GoPro cameras but they dont really fit the lighting of the background.

I can definitely see where you got the inspiration but it's all executed well to fit the original car. Really like it. Bit more time and this would've been close to perfect.

Thanks for your c&c, I really appreciate it, especially that you are the only one who posted a comment (i expected a few more, don't be shy gents!).

Yeah, I was thinking about tires aswell, but I saw a lot of references, and on some there was almost slick tires... I remembered Pikes Peak as hill climb on gravel surface, where rocks were size of fist and were flying everywhere, but now it's asphalt, little more boring : P

Cameras, ehhh, I was rebrushing them like 2-3 times and I still don't know how should they look, maybe in futere I could execute it better, I will try.

thanks again!
This is actually a very original and creative project! :D
There's some nice ideas, and good execution - the kit design and quality is very nice, and overall there aren't too many issues on the chop in general

I agree with construct about the interior - it does need a little more work, but at least the perspectives and lighting is there! That's usually the hardest part to get right
The only other things that I notice are that the vent in the light probably needs skewing a little to match the angle of the surface, and that the whole car now looks a bit long -> This is because it was a five door and now it's three door - so I guess that's to be expected

Also try and find rims that match the lighting of your chop - these are from a studio backdrop, which means the lighting doesn't quite work with the outdoor scene

Overall a cool chop though :-d Clearly a lot of effort has gone into this - Keep it up! :D
