congratulations to the winners and amazing entries. B)

thanks to the judges for the votes and comments. :-d

I'd like to explain why Team Spain's entry looks quite rushed; we run out of time due to the fact that some team members had exams and others went on holidays for most of the time, we couldn't have the chance to work as long as we would like to. So the final the result is a non-100% finished chop...there is no other explaining for our entry. Our apologizes for not being very competitive in this round.
I'm so proud of how far did we get on this competition. :mrteeth:

enjoy the prizes, guys.
Previous years was better quality.
Congratulations all.
Just a question that has just come to my mind after having a look to my profile.

Is gonna be some "trophy" or "diploma" for the ones who participated in this final?
the Olimpic spirit is still in my heart :P
oughh :)
thanks for all your votes :) all views were brushed in just 4 days! : D so far each of the entries were unfinished, the first time in this edition of WTB we have made the car 100% finished and result of that are amazing :D
it's fun to do some work for the WTB, but its bad that WTB is so commercial now, we have some cool prizes, but its not all...to win we had to do what we should not what prompted our imagination because realism was highest rated not creativity.

but nevertheless we are very pleased with the result, of winning, and once again thank you for your votes and for all teams, this WTB has many cool entries :)

That's a load of bullshit, sorry. There's still a lot of room for creativity without making a car look unrealistic. The point of keeping it realistic is because we're virtually tuning a specific car. It's pointless to chop a BMW 6 series and turn it into something else. You might aswell have started with no base or a different one then. The point of chopping in the first place is to modify a car to where the budget stopped, but the imagination hasnt. Thinking of what could be.

Furthermore Autemo went out of their way to add just a little more incentive for you to do you best, by involving sponsors. If you let go of the car tuning principles it would be pointless to those partners, because they could've gone to ANY artwork community to see that.

Reality is just that this competition gave you a chance to be innovative. Discover new territory with the new models, you even had freedom to design you own in one round. But instead of rising above yourselves, you were stuck in your old ways. You were hammering in a screw when it would've gone so much better using a screwdriver.

No, you should thank the Autemo owners for sourcing out sponsors who provided a significant amount of prize money. The only reason there were restrictions this year, was because that was what the sponsors wanted.

But as a competitor I do agree with you. The WTB isn't something that should be commercialised - it should remain as a "for fun" competition where creativity is valued. I have mentioned this already somewhere (can't find it), that for next year's WTB there should be no prizes (or small ones if there is), no restrictions on the tuning of the cars, and public voting.

The ASC should be the more commercialised and restrictive competition, while the WTB goes back to how it was.

Ahh... found where I mentioned what I think the WTB should be:
