very nice try for a first

I know my first try at brushing certainly wasn't that good.
Some tips for you -
If you want to start improving your brushing skills, try not to do an entire car to start with. Begin with things like wing mirrors, arches, side skirts. Little things like that. You'll have a much faster learning curve that way, because once you've mastered the smaller things - you can scale up what you've learned to start brushing larger things like full bodykits, bonnets, interiors, full paint etc.
Saying that, you've done a nice job with the paint. The thing that jumps out to me that you could improve upon is that the paint looks flat - almost matte. The reflections and highlights you've added don't pop enough, like the opacity of them is too low. When brushing reflections, keep in mind 2 things:
1: Don't JUST use the colour white to create reflections unless the car is in a white room. Play with colours too, it will look much more realistic. Use reflections to show the viewer the shape of the car instead of using light and dark.
2: Keep your reflections nice and sharp. Don't fall in to the trap of creating blurry reflections with soft edges.
You've done a nice job with the wheel swap too. Try using higher quality rims next time though. If you check out Donorcentral, or search through general chat/help you'll find some great donors to use at high res.
Keep it up
