Looking at some new chop posted here or on deviant art I see a new effect I really like and I wanna try to do that on my next chop.

I'm talking about the overexposed and blurry atmosphere you can see in chop like these:







There's a tutorial or some tips for doing that??

For those 2 looks, what I would do is.

-The blur is just a very big and soft white/ color brush on very low opacity 10%?
-The over exposed look I make by flatting the image, duplicate it, use gradient map then play with the blending modes. (Usually screen blending mode works pretty good)
