Here is a chop i did a while ago. it was the first time i brushed a scoop.
i originally forgot to blur the new BG to match the wheels but this is now fixed

How do you brush a scoop like that..? Was it using paintbrushes in PhotoShop..?

i used the digimods scoop brushing tutorial. I then placed mesh inside the finished side scoop and used the burn tool to darken the mseh for shadows.

its my fist attempt so the tutorial worked well for me and i hope i can improve on this one to make more before i attempt a full brushed body kit (my next adventure).
