HSV Maloo R8 VYII + New Member

Hi there,
New here and I am relatively new to car chopping. Before I decided to post, I spent the past few days looking at most of the work on the forums and there is definitely some amazing work around.

Anyway, onto the car. Once I saw the chassis mount wing on the R32 that Yasid (huge inspiration) did, I immediately wanted to see what it looked like on my car. Originally I wanted to see the wing mounted where the diffuser is but I like the way the new diffuser looked on this.

I would love feedback on where to improve.
The part I am least happy with are the two bezels that surround the holes where the wing comes out of. Any ideas or solutions?
(The lights are intentionally 'dusty' because the lights on my Maloo (not shown) somehow has red dirt from the outback inside the casing, so I wanted to emulate it.)

Also, can you guys point me in the right direction for great rim/tyre donors? I have trouble finding great examples. (Maybe I need to practice more).

Thanks a lot.

just so you know, stealing parts from another chop is not cool
Ya first on is a chop mate.
Try to use normal donors...

Fake is ok.
Vents could be darker especially front fender one...
wheels are bit unlean on the buttom and flat.
car need also new reflections if u change the bg
exhaust and difusor are ok

Spoiler is stolen... and reflections are wrong, needs shadow on the left

and reflections on ground are not corect
I tried many times to fit the Killagram 86 (below), but couldn't find any high quality images or the right angle.
I didn't think there would be a problem with using another chops because it wasn't a complete cut and paste I wasn't trying to hide where it came from.
But I won't do it again.

What reflections would the side show if it was in a studio?
Is it only the reflection on the ground at the back that has a mistake?
ya the reflections on the ground is off.
has to be paralell with the car, maybe search some examples
here are eneugh good choppers where you can see how it looks.

and ya. there is a reflections from spoiler but on the left, not on the right.
And spoiler need some shadow on the back of the car too
Hey AkherQursan, welcome to the site, good to see another Aussie on here so big welcome!

As for the chop. It looks alright, you seem to have the basics nailed down which is good, so its just matter of attention to detail.

-Best-Design is right, the reflection of the wing mount should be on the left (Think of a mirror/ angle of reflection)
-The bottom of the diffuser should be much darker because less light is hitting it.
-The reflection on the floor is wrong. it shouldnt reflect sideways, but directly downwards

-Another thing to watch out for is the tyres, the back is roughly cut out/ patchy
-Lastly, watch out that you aren't using parts from chops. Im pretty lenient so consider this first and last warning. For Parts, its just matter of knowing what you want and then search on google images, or else you can dig around Flickr or look around for blogs/ that post high res images.

and finally, Just a quick fix to show you the things I pointed out :)
