I think he could keep it up better, if you guys would tell him what to do better next time, so he can learn. I wouldn't keep "it" up if I'd always make the same mistakes.

So, here what you should try to improve:
- There's still the old background seen through the windows. You have to change that if changing the background.
- Only desaturating the paint doesn't look very realistic. Try to add some blue reflections of the sky. The headlights are alsow blue; see it?
- The corners of the air intake at the side look very sharp. You could improve that by adding some highlights.
[That's done by making a vector path along the edges. Then select the brush tool, set it to 2px and about 85% sharpness. Select a bright color (nearly white). Go back to the path tool, right click and stroke the line.]
and work on bigger resolution... min 1600x :-d
