1964 Opel Kadett A - Oldtimer Racing

Using as basis a plain jane Opel Kadett A I found on wikipedia http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/9f/Opel_Kadett_A%2C_Bj._1964_%282011-07-02%29.jpg/800px-Opel_Kadett_A%2C_Bj._1964_%282011-07-02%29.jpg, what initially was going to be a one week nip/tuck first evolved into a wide bodykit no-nonsense racing car, made in matte gray (as my older project Ford Escort Mk1 Break http://www.autemo.com/dc/users/2/70ZIH/3087/chops/Ford_Escort_Mark_1_by_GZ-DESIGN.jpg ). Sadly, I came across Hugo Silva's staggering BMW 2002 http://hugosilva.deviantart.com/art/bmw-2002-rally-car-blue-283403382 and swapped the relatively easy matte colour with a glossy blue. Minilites are a must, as was the tape over the yellow headlights, Air vents came from racing MK1 Golf, and why the Stig is there I really dunno' why. I asked him but he said nothing. The background is a slightly modified Evermotion Archexteriors one. All in all, just short of 8 months upon completion, shaving bits of time here and then when I felt like it.
PS: I would thank if you can notice me the most important failures here, I know there are a lot for sure but I just felt I got rid of a burden when I finished it, so it'll take some time until I do a 2.0 version
Adding power makes you faster on the straights. Subtracting weight makes you faster everywhere.
