I tried to brush car and this is the result.
I know that it is not very well but this can. :)

The atmosphere is pretty good but the car is too toon to seems real..Just practise! ;)

There are some things you could do to make the quality raise by a lot, first, fix the shadow under the car, its way off plus you can see the car that used to be in the background. The wheels are terrible low res, so find bigger pictures or post smaller resolution. I love how you put oil coolers in the rear, will be super effective when backing your car up at high speed. :P

But it's a cool idea! :)

A few other things that would help to bring the paint to life, and perhaps something to consider on future chops:
  • You make paint look shiny by incorporating other tones/colours and a lot of contrast (big different between light and shadows)
  • See if you can find a reference picture to take colour samples from, this will help you get more realistic looking paint
  • Don't be afraid of applying what seems like "random" colour, follow your reference. Often highlights are almost white, and the dark areas are a lot darker.
