http://www.autemo.com/dc/users/3/0KD8P/6747/chops/Carbonated_Merc_by_martin6887.jpg

I was too late for the competition but would like to know what people think...not my best but I have been out of it a while.

Also if you guys could let me know if I should post in the intermediate or not? ... Def not ready for any higher but just good to know I guess.

Btw carbon fibre not something I love, just trying to see how it works :)

Sorry, but this "carbon" doesn't look like carbon fibre, use real carbon pattern! for example:http://users2.ml.mindenkilapja.hu/users/zr1_vts/uploads/karbon.jpg And the vents are unrealistic and angular.

No need to apologise thanks.

agree with zr1, the carbon looks very fake, especially on the rims.
well tbh dont use that patern anymore , or at least use it so the pattern itself is smaller , the blocks are to big in comparison to the car
real carbon fibre will look almost grey/black ish seen from a distance
this car is up close but the pattern is kept to large..

also on the rims you trew it on and did not cut out the pattern between the spokes ?

then to do cf well you need to do it in a lot of different parts on every piece so you can make it cusrve with the body lines :-d

Great feed back. Will keep all of this in mind next time. Guess this is what happens when you try and make your own cf, any good tutorials online you guys could recommend? I'll see if I find any and give it another shot.

Thanks again much appreciated
