Decided to chop the new Audi A1 Quattro into a Gymkhana-style racer!

Not bad. But you shouldn't have just painted the vents and grille black. It needs a bit of depth..

I don't understand why you say this, the vents have mesh in them

Fix mesh and wheels

the idea is good, but the front rim is flat, the light pink toon and the front grille is unreal.

Overall not a bad chop at all dude
There are some minor mistakes like the mesh - I can see now on the hires that it is a little patch, and lacks the perspective change as it wraps around the curve of the car

The only other problem is that you've forgotten to continue the telegraph wires in the front window

But the other mods look nice - it's got a real racey feel, nice rims, which imo fit fine and aren't flat (as was suggested above) and a cool racing livery. You may want to add a slight sort of 'door line' type of thing to the light cover to make it look more like the plastic insert that it is, but other than that I think it looks fine
