This is what I had in mind, but since the rims on the chop are concave, and not convex like this pic, the refs would be the other way round.

I'm not saying he did or did not put them in upside down. Just saying it is possible he didn't. :P

yeah, the lighting of the rims might be confusing, so here's the donor I've used.

Well this chop is really a quicky, difficult to say more. ;)

jack is right. If you look at the base, the brightest reflections are coming from the sky. As the bg is the same, the base should be your reference.

as for the rest of the chop its very clean and simple, but it looks hot :) Well done

looking at the donor I see your point... but you have to remember the lighting on your bg is very different, and the sun is striking the rims directly.

On the donor, the rims are shaded from the sun... so that's why they're darker at the bottom
