The bottom half looks good, but top half is a bit too light and lacks contrast.

I have to agree with Sam but to me looks more like srcky's golf mk1 all refs are the same as on his mk1.

The refs are not the same.
I made the whole paint by my own.
Brushed it and the side refs that you see on the doors are pieces from background.
Warped them, used liquify on them, etc.
I didn't took anything from his golf.
The idea for the red came from this. I took it from my window. I stay on the first floor.

But i wasn't sure about the lightning. And when i asked him for the wheels i took a look at how he did it.
