the blue car is in a different angle than the base so how could the blue one be the "base" then? As I said, ask Asoares, he knows I completely brushed it, all I used from the blue genesis was the color reference..

It may not have been in the rules to provide references/donors for the BPC, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't post references when you post the chop to the forum - this should be something that you do regardless, and especially in situations like this where one reference/donor image is used so extensively.

The staff as a group are trying to crack down on people who attempt to mislead the community into thinking that more work is done than actually has. A naive viewer may look at your work and think that it's brushed without reference... after all this is what you wrote:

Nowhere in the description did you mention the car was rebrushed almost pixel to pixel from a reference with near identical body lines. It seems you avoided mentioning this intentionally in order to make it seem that you've done more work than you have - and this is defined as cheating.

Had you posted the reference with your original post and mentioned that most of the body work was rebrushed, I wouldn't have had a problem with what you've done (I actually would have been more impressed, as you're setting an example for other choppers to do the right thing). It's the fact that you haven't mentioned either that annoys me.

I Did not do that intentionally so I'm sorry for that and I won't make that mistake again.
But it did feel like a big slap in my face being accused of cheating when I didn't.

Ok, but to be safe ALWAYS post the reference/donor if there is one used extensively.

Otherwise you risk being accused.
