Thats really nice, that u are using parts from another cars to create one own car thats really creative and I appreciate that
but i think all that would be much easyer if u where using Adobe Photoshops
try with Adobe PS, u can download it from somewhere :D :D :D

majority of comments to this thread are pretty useless and demotivational as anything

what linus said has point, which i think is good

but on the other hand the main thing i think you should focus on is do things bit by bit, to use more time on the things with smaller scale at the start and gradually work your way up
now the amount of time and effort you spend on designing work doesnt show because the level of execution to the artwork lets it down

keep practising
Thanks!

I think Nordic is spot on.

You have some good idea, and not everyone try to design their own car.
Even with gimp it's possible to accheive good things, but there is just less freedom and harder to get the outcome you might want.

Just start small and try to perfect individual areas instead of trying to do too much.
Like the interior shot, try to spend some time on the steering wheel and make sure it's actually round, or the center console, gps actually covers over the old parts on the dash.

Everyone can copy and paste, but it's how well you can integrate the parts and make it fit perfectly/ looking realistic is what sets people/ chop ranking apart.
Dont be lazy, cut corners, make sure it's perfect before moving to the next part.

Good luck :-d

Those of you who feel the need to post detrimental comments instead of helpful ones are the kind of people I don't want on this forum. None of you were good when you first started, and Autemo prides itself on being helpful and welcoming. Remember that.

Nordic man has it spot on for me too. I love to see creativity like this and thinking outside the box. I can't tell at this point whether you're actually aiming for the collage look, or if you should spend a little more time on your selections, but either way I appreciate the work that's gone into it. Keep up the good work, and take a look at some of the tutorials we have here. If you need help, don't be scared to ask. Contrary to some examples in this thread, we have some great members on Autemo who will always help you out.

I think I've used the wrong eraser all the time.
