Hello everyone!

I have been around here for a while, but I have never posted a chop, so I guess this is my place to be

I want to share with you my latest chop. Maybe I will have to fix some problems but I think it's quite fine.

And here it is!

Overall pretty great job. If I was going to offer any advice, it would be that you need a shadow from the passenger door on the fender. Also that same door would reflect a little in the windshield.

Other than those couple things, it looks very nice.

Thanx Luke. That's was what I meant by "fixing a couple of things", but reflections are my weak point. Even when I make a full brush (not always) I find it hard to make proper reflections. In this case, I have brushed only the sideskirt. All of the rest is C&P or modifying the original picture.

Take a look at this, for example. It looks really toony, and that's not what I want...

This one has only brushed bumper and sideskirts instead...and it took quite a while to make them. Even in that case, I know they could have been better.

Best advice I have to offer is study the existing reflections (taking note of how the lighting reflects off of surfaces similar to the ones you create) and match them. If you dont have a good reference on the car or BG you chose, look around the internet for cars at the same angle in surroundings much like what you have your car in and try to copy those.

You will get it....going to take practice. I'm not really all that great at it...still practicing myself.

Well, I've improved a little shadow on the nearest door, but I'm not doing anything more. I'm waiting for my next challenge, although I have an idea in mind...
