Thanks iC, i agree it's not perfect, yet it is my intention to get there, being not too minimalistic.. ;-)
I'm not sure about the wheels tho, they fit nicely, are actually bigger than the originals and the car was supposed to be bagged on the floor :) :)

I don't think the wheels are too small, but the rear arch is really huge ;) I like the style you've tried to capture, but it's a bit too shiny and toony.
Some men just want to watch the world doing burnouts... :P

hehe - that's actually a very cool chop idea! :) I really miss the show car style of chops that we used to see all the time like this :P

I think the main issue as others have said is the brushing - the colour is certainly there, but it needs to look a lot sharper, with less blur along the horizon line. You should also aim for greater contrast between light and dark in the paint.

Also try and look and see how the base reflects. If you look at the side you will notice a big fairly solid coloured grey area, then a darker stripe above it. The lighter bit lower down is actually a reflection of the ground! :D So you wouldn't expect to see reflection of lights and lamp posts here. The darker stripe is a reflection of a building further away, and this is where most of your reflections of the surrounds should be. You will also notice that it gets stretched along the length of the car.

Keep it up though, just keep looking at real cars and paint to see how it reflects - this will help improve your brushing, little by little, each time that you chop :-d

Thanks ATC, very well stated!
I didn't have a specific donor car for reflections, so i went for downhill/park/sea bay/ other side of sea bay...
Originality gets more attention then reality i guess ;-) Been like that all my life actually, lol...
There will come a time tho, hehe :mrteeth:
